The Opportunity Centers at RISE Services, Inc. provide adults with developmental disabilities the benefit of spending time with other adults who are in similar situations. Not only do they get to share their day, but they also have the opportunity to learn life skills that will help them lead full, productive, and independent lives.

Do Clients Who Attend Opportunity Centers Need To Live In a Residential Home?
While many of the clients who attend our Opportunity Centers do live in our Residential Homes, this is not required for admittance. We provide transportation to and from the Opportunity Centers with authorization through the Arizona Department of the Developmentally Disabled.
What Does The Monday-Friday Program Include?
Each Opportunity Center is unique and hosts its own specific events and learning opportunities in order to take advantage of their local experiences and community events. This Monday-Friday program includes a wide range of learning and engagement opportunities that may include the following:
- Computer labs
- Library visitations
- Engagement in community events
- Social activities
- Personal care training
- Life skills training
- And more
What Life Skills Training Is Included?
Our staff has years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. We serve adults with all levels of disabilities and varying degrees of care requirements at our Opportunity Centers. This is why our life skills training is customized according to each individual’s needs and may include:
- Social and communication skill-building
- Public transportation training
- Personal hygiene instruction
- Money management
- Time management
- Diet and meal preparation
- Relationship building
- Employment preparation
