Job-Based Training
RISE Services, Inc. Arizona’s job-based training program offers adults living with IDD hands-on assistance tailored to each job’s unique requirements. Our Employment Professionals provide customized training that covers important topics like workplace communication, appropriate dress codes, and personal hygiene standards.
Our goal is to help prepare individuals for a smooth transition from the educational environment to the workforce. This training can boost confidence and create a deep sense of belonging in the community.
Supported Employment
When we’re starting something new, it’s helpful to have individualized help. That’s why, through our supported employment services, we provide job coaches to work closely with individuals at their workplaces.
Job coaches make sure employees understand their role. They teach them how to perform specific tasks and help make sure the work is done well. Our coaches are available as needed, which is vital to support employees as they navigate their new job responsibilities.
Training and Coaching
Sometimes, the employment process can feel overwhelming. That’s why we offer training and coaching to help adults with IDD navigate all the steps in finding and keeping a job. From finding placements to submitting applications and starting new roles, our guidance can help individuals begin their employment journey with confidence.
Our one-on-one or small group support focuses on learning new skills and on-the-job training while offering ongoing advocacy. The goal? We want to support individuals as they become independent and competent employees.
Life Skills Restoration
What better way to decide what work to pursue than through a vocational assessment? This tool helps identify strengths and weaknesses so we can help each individual prepare for employment. Based on the insights from the assessment, we offer targeted life skills training. This includes resume building, mock interviews, social and communication skills development, public transportation navigation, and so much more. These helpful services equip individuals with essential skills for success in both their professional and personal lives.
